What is Boob Tape?

Boob Tape No.1 by CureTape is a flexible and breathable cotton tape with a skin-friendly acrylic adhesive layer. The tape is used as a fashion tape to create a “no bra-look.” There are various styles possible when using Boob Tape, including the strapless style and the criss-cross style. It is even possible to wear the tape while showering or swimming due to its water-resistant properties.

Originally, Boob Tape No.1 was part of the taping material used by (physio)therapists to treat injuries and conditions. You may have already used it for a sports injury or seen athletes and other individuals with colored tapes on their skin. These tapes have different applications, and the idea to use them for this purpose emerged.

Tips to correctly apply Boob Tape No.1:

Cut the strips into the right size and round off the edges to prevent peeling in the corners.

Never stretch the tape too much! This could cause irritation.

Rub the tape well after application to activate the adhesive layer.

Tips for Applying BoobTape No.1:

Ensure that the skin is clean and free of oils before applying the tape.
Avoid using lotions or oils in the area you want to tape, as they can reduce the adhesive strength. If the skin is oily, make it oil-free using degreasing soap, alcohol, or a Clean Skin Pretaping Spray.
Cut strips in advance and round the corners. Cut the strips to the desired length you need. Neatly round the corners of the ends so that the tape adheres well to the skin.
To easily remove the tape from the release paper, tear the paper in half just before the ends or from the middle. Ensure that the skin area to be taped is free from lotions and oils, as they can reduce the tape’s adhesive strength. If you have recently washed your hair with conditioner or an oil-based soap, this can also affect the adhesion. If the skin is oily, clean it with a degreasing soap, alcohol, or a Clean Skin Pretaping Spray.
Avoid stretching the tape at the ends and be careful with stretching during application.
Rub the tape well for better adhesion. After applying the tape, rub it thoroughly to enhance its adhesion.
Never tape over damaged skin or wounds, and avoid folds in the tape.

Tips for Removing BoobTape No.1:

The acrylic adhesive layer is not soluble in water but only in oil. Despite the adhesive not dissolving in water, most people find it convenient to remove the tape while showering.
Remove bit by bit: Never remove the tape in one swift motion. Gently unroll the tape or remove it bit by bit. Pull lightly on the tape in the direction of the skin to make it easier to remove.
If you experience any irritation, always use an oil (baby oil, vegetable oil, or olive oil) to dissolve the adhesive layer. This prevents additional skin irritation.

How can I place an order?

3. Select ‘add to cart’ once for each item required. For items with colour variations click ‘select options’ or select the image of the product and enter the amount of each colour of item you would like to order.

4. To check the order or make amendments hover over the blue shopping bag in the header (upper right corner) and click ‘view cart’. If required delete mistakenly ordered items. To add further items click the ‘shop’ tab and continue creating the order.

5. Finally check the order by selecting ‘view cart’ by hovering over the shopping bag in the upper right corner.

6. Click the button ‘proceed to checkout’ if you have checked the cart and would like to order the items in it.

7. If you already have an account, you can login with your existing account. If you do not have an account yet you could choose to register or to proceed as a guest. If you register you do not have to fill in all of your personal information for your next order.

8. Enter all required information on the checkout page. Choose your preferred payment method, enter the details and click ‘place order’.

9. You will receive an email confirming the order and its order number.

10. When using Bank Transfer you can deposit the payment for the order into our account mentioned in the order confirmation referencing the order number.

11. Once funds are received the order will be processed and a tracking number for the package will be emailed to you. You can monitor parcels by clicking track my item. You will receive an email confirming completion of the order.

What is the return period?

Our return policy is 30 days after product purchase. If you return your goods within 30 days we can offer a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

What are the return conditions?

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

How can I return a product?

If you want to return, or exchange an item send us an email to [email protected] include a brief description with the reason of returning the product, the original order number and a photo/video if applicable. If you are shipping an item over $25, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Sometimes postage goes missing. THYSOL USA’s responsibility ceases once we have deposited your products with the postage contractor. We highly recommend when checking out with your order online that you consider; signature on delivery/loss or damage insurance. If items don’t arrive at the end destination we will lodge a dispute query with the freight carrier. In out experience even in favourable cases a reimbursement of up to $50 may be possible therefore insurance should always be considered.

When will I receive the refund?

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to you via the original method of payment, within a certain time period (approx 10 working days). Please be aware that some external payment providers can then take up to 30 days to credit funds back to an account or card.
